Pedro began playing drums at age 15 and studied in a local music school in Sintra for 3 years. At the age of 18 he started his journey in Jazz, at the Hot Clube de Portugal school in Lisbon, attending jazz jam sessions, school Big Band, representing the school's combo in ''Festa do Jazz'' and many independent projects.
Currently he's finishing his degree in Jazz Music, at Lisbon’s Escola Superior de Música, while developing new projects in Hip Hop, World Music, Pop, Rock, Electronic, Jazz, influenced by African Rhythms and Improvised Music.
He studied with Bruno Pedroso, André Sousa Machado, Vini Basquera, Joel Silva, Pedro Viana, Luís Cunha, Paulo Santo, João Moreira, Pedro Moreira, Filipe Melo, Nelson Cascais, Lars Arens, Afonso Pais, Desidério Lázaro, Ricardo Pinheiro and many others.
Since 2019, he has also been working on Pop, RnB, Hip Hop as a freelance musician, playing with covers / live arrangement bands and touring with Universal Music artist MURTA.
Some of his biggest drumming influences are Dan Mayo, Mark Guiliana, Corey Fonville, Justin Scott, Chris ''Daddy'' Dave, Rico Nichols, Elvin Jones and Tony Williams.
