João Pedro Oliveira Faria, born in Guimarães, Portugal, began his musical education at Workshop Music, where he studied with Rolando Ferreira, João Diogo, Dave Amorim and Pedro Andrade. He later continued his training through private lessons with Pedro Andrade and Tiago Baldaia. He also studied Music Theory applied to electric bass in private tuition with Augusto Corrente.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and is currently completing his Master's degree.

Throughout his professional career, he has collaborated with a wide range of artists and projects, including Sons do Minho, Maria João Soares, P21, Sara Monteiro, Sala 7, Morning Glory, and Polibã, working primarily as a live session musician as well as a studio recording musician.

Alongside his performing career, he is a drum teacher at MusicLab School of Music in Felgueiras.
